Eco Heal combines evidence-based counselling and psychotherapy with the embodying wisdom of nature to help you slow down and make meaningful, real and lasting change. From chronic stress, anxiety and burnout to loss or life transitions, our sessions are always personalised to your needs and style. Sessions are offered in a peaceful outdoor setting, or online, with the therapy type that suits you.
Healing that doesn't feel clinical.
My counselling approach is tailored to the individual I'm working with. I offer genuine care and a gentle, effective, non‑confrontational style. I have extensive experience supporting clients with chronic stress, anxiety, and self‑worth concerns, as well as in supporting those navigating grief.
I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities according to the needs of each session, including Person‑Centred Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, neuroscience‑informed approaches, and Positive Psychology.
My practice is holistic, recognising the interconnected nature of emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
Sessions are one-to-one - usually walk & talk or online - drawing on trauma-informed approaches. Focus areas include anxiety, stress, grief, self-esteem, communication, and life transitions. I can support you with the ordinary and challenging issues you're facing currently in life. Session lengths: 60 minutes
My psychotherapy approach is grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique inner world and lived experience. I work with warmth, presence, and a steady, compassionate style that supports meaningful change without pressure or confrontation.
My experience spans a wide range of emotional and life challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, identity and purpose concerns, relational difficulties, self-esteem issues, and the effects of long‑term stress.
I integrate a blend of evidence‑based and experiential modalities according to what each session calls for, drawing from Narrative frameworks; mindfulness‑based practices; somatic and neuroscience‑informed approaches; and elements of Ecotherapy. My psychotherapy work is holistic, honouring the interconnected nature of mind, body, emotion, and spirit, and supporting you to cultivate insight, resilience, and a felt sense of alignment in your daily life. Offered for individuals in natural settings, walk and talk, or online. Session lengths: 60 or 90 minutes
Spending time outdoors is one of the gentlest ways to care for your mind and body. Research has shown again and again, that connecting with nature can help in the following ways -
Peaceful moments in nature build your sense of awe, and help you feel more connected to the world and to your own sense of purpose.
Connecting with nature helps to lighten your emotional and mental state. Natural spaces are proven to help ease depression, anxiety, and daily stress.
Simply being in nature calms your body. Stepping outside physically relaxes you by lowering your blood pressure, soothing your heart rate, and reducing "stress hormones" like cortisol.
Adding counselling or psychotherapy to being in nature, creates a beautiful synergy. The benefits of therapy are frequently enhanced in walk and talk sessions.
The side-by-side nature of walking eliminates the pressure of direct eye contact, which can make it easier to discuss difficult, embarrassing, or traumatic topics. It feels less like a clinical interrogation and more like a casual, supportive walk with a professional.
The physical act of moving can help clients feel less "stuck" metaphorically when dealing with difficult, persistent issues, often leading to easier and deeper insights.
Studies show that a stroll through nature can sharpen your focus, memory, and mental agility. In fact, research found that walking actually boosts creative thinking by 60% compared to just sitting at a desk.
Being in nature together, rather than sitting in an office together, often replaces the clinical 'expert' dynamic with a shared, collaborative experience that makes opening up feel much more natural.
Physical movement stimulates the release of endorphins, our natural mood lifters, which can decrease stress and improve emotional regulation. The natural environment also helps lower cortisol levels, reducing anxiety and rumination (or dwelling on negative thoughts).
Being outdoors engages the senses, making it easier to be present, grounded, and aware of one's surroundings, which creates a gentle space for moving through difficult experiences or emotions at a pace that feels safe for you.
While most of my outdoors clients have been women, statistically it has been shown that this kind of therapy is also really helpful for men and teens. I think the main factor is that you like being outdoors, and you enjoy either a good walk or a sit, in nature.
Warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I blend this breathwork as needed in all kinds of sessions I offer. This tool is a somatic approach, that offers great support for a profoundly calm mind, heart and nervous system.
This therapy is based in the neuropsychology work of repatterning neural pathways, developing presence and quietude, and the quantum physics work of visioning and calling in your desired changes and future.
Drawing on training in Internal Family Systems, Somatic Ecotherapy and a traditional indigenous body-based archetype work, I approach the gentle yet powerful healing of archetype work from several modalities. I most commonly use this tool in pyschotherapy sessions.
I work with individuals who are ready to move beyond "just getting by" and want to build a more resilient, peaceful life. You might find my support especially helpful if you are navigating:
Stress & Burnout: If you feel "on edge" or disconnected, I help you find your way back to calm using practical emotional regulation tools.
Anxiety & Emotional Overwhelm: We work together to quiet the noise and help you listen deeply to your heart, so you can respond to life with more clarity and less reactivity.
Life Transitions: Whether it’s a career change, a relationship shift, or a move, I provide a steady space to process the uncertainty of new beginnings.
Personal Growth: If you simply feel there is "more" to life, I support you in outgrowing old patterns and discovering your inherent strengths.

I work primarily with women, though I have always also had male clients and a young people in their teens. I have worked with Australian Aboriginal First Nations people, and am trained in providing cultural safety. I have worked with people of the LGBTQ+ community, and with people of different nationalities.
Yes absolutely. I frequently work with people who's process gently takes them into deeper explorations. In these cases the tools of psychotherapy, or entire sessions of psychotherapy, become relevant and helpful. This is a very flexible and flowing process which we'll talk about at every step.
